Learning Kendo from Itou Sensei

Kendo Seminar was awesome, with Fernando Sensei, doing kendo is something different. I feel better the days that he stayed here. (It's like: here there's no problem)
The seminary was directed by two 8ºdan Sensei. Nagata Sensei 8ºdan hanshi, and Ito Sensei 8ºdan kyoshi of Kendo and Iaido.

When I saw Ito sensei was very funny because something make me go near him, and I didn't know who was, but I saw Sensei smiling and suddenly I was talking with him. Since I greet him I felt the energy of a great person. I don't know how we communicated because I didn't speak any Japanese.

In the afternoon we had kata seminary, and first I was alone without partner and Ito Sensei came and help me, I couldn't believe that, a 8ºdan was being my partner to train kata. Awesome!
Then Wilder, my friend of Peru was alone, so we had to change, but Ito Sensei came to help us everytime, Ito Sensei is very nice and friendly, he explained us everything with signs and sounds.

The last day, to sayonara party I went with some friends, at "Churrasquería" and while I was eating Ito sensei came with a man who speaks portuguese and japanese. Ito sensei told me that he saw my shiai and he liked, (my basics and the intention)

I told him that I was too happy to meet him and I felt very good talking with him, he gave me his card and I promise him: "In 6 months I will be speaking Japanese" He was very happy. I like him so much is an excellent Sensei and always with a smile.

I am very happy and grateful with kendo opportunities to travel and meet people

FUKUHAKU Ehh!!

On Thursday all Ecuador team went to Hayashi Sensei's house in Suzano, near São Paulo. His dojo is a bit far so we stayed in his house. Hayashi Sensei organized for us all the schedule.

In his living room we trained kata, Hayashi Sensei is specialist in kata, then we went to his dojo, Fukuhaku, in this dojo train a lot of young people, kids with 6 years with bogu, and a lot of boys and girls, who are very friendly and good persons. A lot of kenshis are Hayashi senseis's relatives.

At the next day we trained in the morning, then we go to the Mall, at the lunch time we went to a grill with Sensei's friends and family. We played volleyball, table tennis, videogames, etc.

At night we went to karaoke, here is very famous going to karaoke, a lot of people like it!.
I am a bit shy, but I had to sing ^^

Hayashi Sensei's wife, Olga, takes care us like a mother, thank you very much. I enjoyed a lot of talking with her.

七夕 Tanabata

Tanabata is the Japanese Stars Festival that is celebrate on July 7.

This was in Galvão Bueno Street, it was decorated with origami and wish papers (peace, friendship, love, health and money)

Each person writes his/her wishes and puts it on a tree. Papers are full of colors and  a lot of wishes, trees look beautiful and also there are some sales in the street, most of them are Japanese food. I feel so happy, it is like a dream.

I saw a lot of Taiko presentations, the most that I like was this, with cute kids ^^ "Que bonitinhos"

Then there was a Japanese dance with the music of "Comemoração do Centenario da Imiração Japonesa" The arrangement of this song was made by Tadao Ebihara sensei. This song is great and the dance is performing by Mãe, Obaa-chan and their friends.

After this came a big dance and party with everybody, I loved some songs but I couldn't find them so far.

A show after the closing ceremony was anime band, it was cool. People of all the ages were at the concert, I was surprised, in all activities, there were people of all ages.

Since the afternoon, there was a DJ playing in the street. Wow a big party in the street, awesome!

And walking in the street you can find people doing break dance, in the metro station or like here.
